AIRo-8, a robot being developed for the inspection of pressurized regional sewer pipelines was introduced on TV Tokyo’s Morning Satellite in the “EXPO Mania” segment. The program covered the Sewage Works Exhibition 2026 Tokyo and featured the Kyoei Sangyo Co., Ltd. booth as one of the exhibition booths showcasing various technologies. Our laboratory demonstrated AIRo-8 at the booth, and the program showed the robot entering a φ200 mm pressurized sewer main through a φ75 mm branch pipe connected to an air valve and repair valve.
