To celebrate receiving the FOOMA JAPAN 2025 AP Award in June, we held a congratulatory party aboard the Lake Biwa cruise ship Michigan. Despite the bitter cold brought by the Hiei Oroshi winds, the inside of the ship was warm and comfortable allowing us to enjoy a 90-minute cruise and a lunch buffet. As the award was the result of joint research with Professor Sadao Kawamura of the Ritsumeikan Global Innovation Research Organization, he also joined the celebration.
