On August 22–24, Ritsumeikan University BKC campus hosted the Manabi@R Academic Program for children: “Let’s Built and Control a Snake-like Robot!” Over the three-day program, six elementary school students together with their families built snake-like robots and learned programming. Professor Kakogawa and Kominami led the program with support from four student assistants—Naka, Miyoshi, Iwasaki, and Ishikawa. On the final day, we enjoyed a fun race on a crank course with the robots the children had built. Everyone was very excited! We would like to thank all participants and staff for their support.
