The Sewage Works Exhibition 2026 was held at Tokyo Big Sight from August 4 to 7. During the exhibition,our laboratory demonstrated our in-pipe inspection robots at two company booths.
At the Kyoei Sangyo Co., Ltd. booth, we featured live demonstrations of 「AIRo-8.2」, an inspection robot for pressurized regional sewage pipelines (inner diameter: φ200–300 mm) which can only be inserted through a φ75 mm air valve or repair valve. We also demonstrated 「Xbot-2」, an inspection robot for public sewage pressure pipelines (inner diameter: φ75 mm). In addition, the latest models from the AIRo-5 series and AIRo-7 series were on display.
At the Kurimoto, Ltd. booth, 「AIRo-8.2」, the same inspection robot for pressurized regional sewage pipelines described above was demonstrated. While the demonstration at the Kyoei Sangyo Co., Ltd. booth only showed insertion through a repair valve, the demonstration here also showed the robot passing through horizontal and vertical bends after insertion.
Both booths welcomed a large number of visitors. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who visited us despite the hot weather.
